As a branch of the My Health Professionals alumni, My Diet Professionals, provide expert Dietitians, nutritionist and nutrition champions, to help overcome your personal, community or commercial needs. Dedicated to the same ethics, My Diet Professionals pride themselves in only providing a service tailored to your needs. All our professionals are governed and regulated through their own professional body. In addition, all our dietitians are governed and regulated by the healthcare professionals’ code of conduct, meaning they will only provide the latest in ethical, evidence based advice. Our diet professionals are experienced in working in all areas of the field, whether it be providing one-to one consultations, community health talks or helping nursing homes comply with key measurable outcomes as set by the Care Quality Commission; My Diet Professionals has the service for you. As part of the My Health Professionals group, we too share the ideology that our service should be tailored to both your social and health needs. Therefore, whether it’s a clinic room setting you’d prefer or a discreet talk at your favourite coffee house, our diet professionals are willing to travel to your place of comfort, so that you’re most at ease. Our bespoke service will enable and empower you to overcome any dietary challenges faced.

Registered Dietitians (RDs) are the only qualified health professionals that assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems. Nursing Home Screening

Assisting Nursing Homes and their staff to meet CQC nutrition and hydration outcomes through nurse training and monthly screening, helping to manage malnutrition in line with national guidance.

Our Dietitians are trained adult educators, assisting nursing home staff in mandatory screening, essential in highlighting residents who maybe at risk of malnutrition and tailoring first line advice for the patient individual difficulties. Our nutritional experts have the expertise and software available to ensure residents dietary intake is of a high quality, allowing nursing homes to offer nutritious meals, potentially prevent hospital admission and meet CQC outcomes.

 

Following assessment by Speech and language therapists, patients maybe advised to follow a modified consistency diet, including pureed foods and thickened fluids. Our Dietitians are able to advise well balanced diet plans to ensure your nutritional well being is maintained, whilst assessing your need for additional supplements. Swallow impairment can often be a sensitive matter, with our dietitians experienced in ensuring both the patients and carers concerns are heard

Modified Consistency Diets

Patients' are often placed on modified diets to help with swallowing difficulties following treatment or as a result of a swallow impairment. Dietitians can tailor such diets to ensure your nutritional requirements are met.
